Beginning the Hobbit

The book I have been reading is The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. It is a very interesting book to say the least. It starts off with the description of Bilbo Baggin's sweet little life in Hobbiton amongst all the other hobbits of his race. Then one day Gandalf the Gray shows up, a very wise old wizard, and everything changes. The next visitors to show up are thirteen dwarves who are know for their adventures and quests. I found it funny how the dwarves made themselves right at home, ate everything, and messed up the house while Bilbo just kept trying to be hospitable. It seems the the innocent little Bilbo is being forced into what is going to be a fierce rough adventure and I can not wait to read the rest of what is going to happen so I can see the second movie and be an expert. Because I saw the first movie and was quite bored because all I they seemed to do after meeting, like what I have just read, was just walk. They walked and walked and walked some more. In fact me and my friends left the movie early because all they were doing was traveling and we got really really bored. Although from what I have heard there is supposed to be a lot more action coming up in the sequel because it is going to be about the interesting and intense part of the novel. So I am not only looking forward to seeing the movie but reading the rest of this very renowned book.
